We will keep you informed regarding the registration process for the new dates of the EMC which may start early next year. Fees already paid shall be valid for next year!

Thank you for being understanding and patient during this unprecedented situation, and we are looking forward to seeing you in 2021 in our beautiful city.”

FINA World Masters Championships @ Kyushu
May 31 – Jun 9 all-day

The Organising Committee of the 19th FINA World Championships in Fukuoka and the 19th FINA World Masters Championships in Kyushu is pleased to announce that the new dates of the Championships have been finalised as stated below, after consideration following the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

19th FINA World Championships 2022 Fukuoka: 13 May, 2022 – 29 May, 2022
19th FINA World Masters Championships 2022 Kyushu: 31 May, 2022 – 9 June, 2022
It has been decided that the event will take place avoiding 2021, the year of the Tokyo Olympics, thus achieving an athlete-centred schedule in its complete form, without reducing any of the disciplines or shortening the competition schedule.
We will continue to exert our utmost efforts to prepare for the Championships to meet the expectations of the many athletes and sports fans longing for the opening of the event, and to make it a great success.
