South Korea here we come!

The first of the Spencer contingent are heading to South Korea today for the start of the World Masters Swimming Championships in Gwangju and Yeosu, in the south of the country. 18 Spencer competitors will join 4000 other Masters athletes from around the world, to race in the same pool as Adam Peaty, Caeleb Dressel and other world breakers at the elite championships which finished a couple of weeks ago.
First up is water polo and artistic swimming, closely followed by the 3k Open Water at Yeosu Expo Ocean Park, starting on 9th August.
Tony Cherrington and Jamie Mackay will be competing in the 75-79 and the 35-39 age groups respectively.
Pool swimming starts on 12th August and we have high hopes of medals, especially in the relays, where we are seeded in the top three in 8 events.
