My life in lockdown – Amanda

My life in lockdown has consisted of making videos nearly every weekend. You’d think I’d be getting better at it, but sadly that’s not the case!

The latest video is a compilation made by Pullbuoy, an independent swimming website, to celebrate their 20th anniversary. It was released on Sunday, and I was quite surprised to see Rebecca Adlington and Sharron Davies amongst my fellow cast members.

The problem with making more serious videos is that by the time they get posted they’re out of date. The one I made for Swim England was at the start of my 30 day skipping challenge a couple of weeks into lockdown – by the time it got posted, I was past Day 30 and on to bigger and better things (= on a long recovery phase from skipping injuries).

The other videos have been for family, work and recommendations for various lock down stay in shape activities – Jason’s Neuroplasticity and Jeff Grace’s Swim specific yoga.

And one yet to be finalised is the Spencer  “Don’t Rush” challenge – we still need participants for this one, so please, please have a go.

Watch the video (link below) made by the French National Swim Team, then make your own clip with a Spencer hat and upload to Googledrive – check the Facebook group or ask Olegas or me for a link, then Olegas will compile our video.

Here’s the link to the French team video

Look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
