More medals on second day of SSE meet

Spencer swimmers netted another 10 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals on the final day of the Swim South East Championships. This brought the total medal count to 19 gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze.

Esther Iseppi swam some of the toughest events in the programme, winning the 400 IM, 200 fly and 800 free, bringing her weekend total to 6 golds.

Godfrey Admans won the 50 back and 200 back, adding to his 100 gold on Saturday.

Cristian Rentsch won the 200 back and 100 breast and took silver in the 50 back.

Simon Berrey won the 800 free and 200 back, came 2nd in the 50 back and 4th in the 100 free.

Clive Benson won the 50 free and came second in the 100, while Steve Baker took silver in the 50 and bronze in the 100.

In the women’s 50 free, Abba Newbery and Suzanne Maidment both won bronze medals.
